This series of paintings is made face-up so that the work becomes more complicated and grows as several layers of paint are thrown, dripped, or dragged across a removable ground. This is an act of creating by destroying and creating again with each application of paint. Thinking and doing and thinking again.

With each layer of paint, decisions have to be made about the colors chosen, the condition of the pigment, the implements used for the drag and when to stop. When the work is completed and the paint is dry, the paint is removed from the ground and mounted a panel.
